THE MACHINE

DIRECTED BY MICHAEL PRICE

Here is the machine. The company boss is very happy about it. The Machine. What does it do? Nobody knows. But the company has it and the boss is very happy about it. The new employee. This will be his job. To figure out. What the machine. Does. A gonzo experimental indie comedy/sci-fi from US filmmaker Michael Price, THE MACHINE is a joyously eccentric UFO of storytelling. —Mitch Davis (Fantasia Film Festival)

THE LAST NICE SUNDAY IN THE EAST VILLAGE

DIRECTED BY DANNY ROBERTS

Three friends spend an unseasonably warm day together in the midst of immense loss.

“This film came out of a combination of immense personal loss, climate anxiety, and a need to reconcile the two. I can only hope it inspires the audience to take care of one another, by any means necessary.” —Danny Roberts

The title Last Nice Sunday in The East Village is a reference to a video by Nelson Sullivan called, The First Nice Sunday of 1987 in the East Village. I also made a short documentary about Danny Roberts shaving his head after completing post-production on this film. You can watch both videos below.

Produced by Elias ZX & Chase Newman

Cinematography by Elizabeth Vrklan

Starring Allamaprabhu Pattanashetty, Leonidas Ocampo and Rachel Housinger

SNAPDRAGON

DIRECTED BY LAINE ELLIOTT

Snapdragon follows Jo, a fifteen year old girl who has been placed in an inpatient psychiatric ward following a suicide attempt. When she is told by the ward psychiatrist, Dr. O'Malley, that she can only go home when she stops lying, she embarks on a quest to figure out what she’s hiding.

Joanna sets out to find out what her “lie” is through O’Malley, her parents, the other patients, and a sympathetic nurse named Michelle. As her friendship with Michelle grows, Jo discovers the painful truth about O’Malley’s request, and the harsh realities of the place that is supposed to help her heal.
